Singapore Airlines celebrated on Tuesday the launch of its non-stop flight to Seattle in a unique way: by releasing a new music track that includes the sounds made by the aircraft used for the flight, Airbus A350-900, during its operation.

According to a statement, the music track is a collaborative effort between the carrier and Seattle-based musician and producer Chong the Nomad.

“The city of Seattle is known for its rich music and is home to some celebrated musicians such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Jimi Hendrix. Through this maiden flight launch to Seattle, we want to have a bit of fun and give a contemporary appreciation to this legacy by creating a unique song,” said Singapore Airlines senior VP sales and marketing Campbell Wilson in the statement.

The new pop-electronic song titled “”, which is part of the airline’s “Seattle Sounds Even Better Now” campaign, was created by mixing sounds — from the engine roaring to the voice of flight attendants on speaker — compiled directly from the Airbus A350.
